PCA peels are a skin care treatment that improves clogged pores, skin texture and color by removing the uppermost layer of skin leaving it more supple and vibrant and stimulates the elastic tissue beneath the surface of the skin resulting in a healthier and firmer appearance. By removing the dead skin the penetration of skin care products is increased by up to 50% and make up will also go on more smoothly.

We offer chemical peels in all strengths, including the Sensi Peel by PCA, which can be used on any skin tone, sensitive skin, or for those with rosacea. Skin is temporarily pink but fully recovers within 24 hours. Post-peel skin care products will be provided to you. It is imperative that you wear a mineral (zinc oxide or titanium oxide) SPF of at least 30 at all times outdoors, after your chemical peel

Chemical Peel in Pittsburgh: What can I expect the treatment?

After a chemical peel, your skin will have a fresh pink glow and a softer texture. You skin may start to peel around day two or three. All chemical peel clients will not see peeling, this does not effect the treatment or take away from the positive results you will see from your chemical peel. We will supply you with post-peel products that you must use for the next seven days.

Be sure to be gentle with your skin a few days after your chemical peel: do not work out for 24 hours after a peel, don't expose your skin to the sun or use harsh abrasives on your face. Wear a gentle physical sunscreen, even if its a cloudy day.
